Dean of Schools: Dr. Dennis J. Lawson Sr.

April 10, 2017 Elkmont, Alabama

As the result of growth at UNTCI’s seminary, Trinity Evangelical Christian University has created another faculty position and named it’s first Dean.

Dr. Dennis J. Lawson Sr., the newly named TECU Dean of Schools, has a PhD in Christian Apologetics from TECU and has been on staff for several years as both Senior Academic Adviser, Professor of Seminary Studies, and Assistant Director for the newly developed “Distance Learning Seminary” currently being conducted with a group of Pastor students in Bondo, Kenya.

TECU already has an affiliate campus in Aurora, Colorado (The Center For Global Transformation) established for Spanish speaking students under the Directorship of Dr. Fransisco Miraval, a temporary campus supporting our Seminary Class in Bondo, Kenya under the Directorship of Pastor Fred Akello, and considering an affiliation with The Great Commission Bible College & Seminary in Nigeria where Dr. Evang Isaac Adamyemi is the Rector.

With all of this growth, TECU will be reorganizing it’s schools of discipline, restructuring some of the course content, and adding more education options. Dr. Lawson, as Dean of Schools will be overseeing and managing these adjustments and maintaining the day to day communion between the campuses.

Please join us in welcoming him and praying for his success that TECU may continue to grow to serve the called and glorify God.
